Being a doctor is one of the most exciting and rewarding professions that exist, although it requires many years of study and effort and dedication. For surgeons, the training is particularly important to reach a good learning curve. It requires thousands of hours in operation room, excellent mentors and educational opportunities to develop skills and stay up-to-date.
Facialis Academy was born in 2017, as a project for education in facial plastic surgery for Latin American countries. Our goal was to offer the Latin American ENT specialists, facial plastic surgeons and plastic surgeons the opportunity to learn from the experience of some of the best facial plastic surgeons in the world without having to travel far from their home countries.
Since many Latin American countries had a very limited surgical education offer due to socioeconomic and geographic factors we saw there was a gap to be filled.
The interest shown in our courses, in addition to the growing enthusiasm generated among our community of specialists, made us evolve towards an International Academy.
Today, we not only offer courses, cadaver labs and workshops, but thanks to technology that allows us to overcome distance, we now offer webinars and an educational video platform. This, with the participation and collaboration of some of the best specialists in the world.
Our aim is to help surgeons to develop their skills and knowledge at all stages of their career.
